Made to order YAG (synthetic garnet) loose oval shaped stone. This royal blue to royal purple color is a perfect simulant for Tanzanite. However, YAG is harder (more durable) and has greater dispersion (more rainbows) than tanzanite.

The reflection pattern with splintery shards is an absolute sparkle bomb. Here is a longer video under different lighting conditions, since pictures don’t do it justice!

This listing is for a loose stone that I will cut within 2 weeks of receiving the order. I can cut it up to 12 mm in length, or smaller if you prefer. For reference, the stone in the hand picture was ~10.5mm long, and this is the default size.
