Note: this is actual synthetic alexandrite, not corundum simulant! It is the dark dark dark variety of alexandrite, produced in Russia for use in jewelry. This stone has many small bubble inclusions that are very visible in photos, but actually pretty hard to see in person. The pictures were taken on a bright day next to a window. As is the case with Russian alexandrite, expect a darker stone indoors at night.
The color change on this one is very hard to capture and is definitely something to see in person.
